Do you remember the last post where I encountered Charles Chatenay, the painter? Well, that story was not finished, and I hope that after so many small stories, this gameplay story is going to be the last part of this story.
Disguised as a prostitute, Charles Chatenay makes his way to the docks to escape Saint Denis and the angry locals on a boat this time.
I was at Saint Denis, and a mission appeared on my map where I would be able to play another part of this story of Charles. Anyway, when I went there, I saw a lady standing, and she was calling me, and I was going towards that lady.
Although everything felt a little weird because that lady was looking very weird.
I went close to that lady and she started talking with me. She started talking in a male voice and introduced himself as Charles Chatenay, the painter. No wonder why that lady looked weird.
Arthur asked why he was dressed like that. He replied that because he was a wanted man he dressed like that to disguise himself. He said that he wanted to go to the South Pacific for which he needed help, and Arthur agreed.
I started following him. He needed my help to get on the ship, that is why I was following him towards the dock. After walking for a bit, we saw some men standing in front of us.
Charles tried to hide after seeing them because he had shat on their bar once and they were looking for him. Also, they were parts of the reason for his disguise.
A tram car came in front of us at the perfect time. Charles used the tram car as cover and started running with it. I also followed him and was running with the tram car.
While we were headed for the dock, we came in front of three men. They recognized Charles, although he was disguised, yet they noticed him and started calling him. Charles saw them and started going the other way. I was standing there and looking at those men.
Charles went into a post office. I followed him. Inside that post office, he saw another man, and with instant reaction, he hugged and kissed Arthur to distract that man. He thought he knew that man but he was wrong.
After that, Arthur threatened him about not doing that again.
Then Charles went through a small alley, and I followed him. We came close to a train station and crossed a fence. When he crossed the fence, a man came and asked where he was going. When Charles replied in a male voice, that man got scared and left that place instantly.
I continued following Charles. After following him for a while, we reached the dock and went a little further and were really close to his ship. Yet we did not face any big threats. But I had a gut feeling that I would face a fight, and I was prepared for it.
When Charles was about to get on the ship, some men came out of the ship. Seeing that, Charles ran, but those men came charging at me instead of Charles. One man came at me and started hitting me. I grabbed his waist and put him on the ground.
I had a brutal fight with those guys. There were three of them and I was alone as Charles was hiding like a scaredy cat. I took some hits but also fought them back. After an intense fight, I took out all the enemies.
After that fight, Charles came out and got on the ship. Arthur told him that if people do not like him there, he should continue heading south, although he said it sarcastically. With that, my mission had ended successfully.
When the mission was completed, the police of Saint Denis came looking for me as I fought those men. Seeing the police, I called my horse, got on it, and wanted to leave the place, but the police were in every corner of the city.
It was getting difficult for me to get out of there without a fight. So I fired at them while riding. After a little fight, I was able to cross the bridge to exit Saint Denis.
Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
