What's up plebs?!
Got a cool silver coin to show off today! It's actually one of my latest additions to the stack and I really love the minimalistic design it has.
Let's check it out:
For the German speaking it's obvious what this coin all about as it reads:
50 JAHRE DEUTSCHES FERNSEHEN
For
50 Years of German Television
And clearly that thing in the middle is a television π πΊ
Yep, yet another commemorative German coin :D
Now let's flip the coin:
As always we get a unique design of the German empire chicken. I really like this design :)
And as always we get the denomination (10 euro), minting date etc!
One of the things I like about German commemorative coins is how they always come with a unique inscription on the edge
This one reads
BILDUNG UNTERHALTUNG INFORMATION
For
Education Entertainment Information
This is a motto amously associated with the public broadcasting service ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) in Germany. It underscores the public service mission to serve democracy, cultural development, and social cohesion blah blah blah.
Silverwise, we have 18 g of 0.925 purity. Nice! π
All in all a really nice coin that I coin slightly above spot price. Thankfully, silver pumped in the meantime and erased the difference πππππππ
Ok friends this is it for today. As always, see you soon with more shiny!
