Happy Saturday to you all, I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. I just finished up my first cup of coffee and decided it was time to get busy . After I finish up my post I have errands to run around town here. I may even have some time to stop by a thrift store or two and look for some more LEGOs to flip. It should be a fun day!
In the crypto investing world things have been interesting this week to say the least. Bitcoin gave us all a nice scare with that sudden dip toward $100,000. Someone must have sold a large enough stake to set of people's stop loss sell orders and down it went even faster. Fortunately, it stayed in six figures and is showing support at around $105,000. We may be in the six digit range for the foreseeable future and even test a new all time high in the next week or two!
Hive also had a nice dip along with BTC, I was lucky enough to catch the bottom and buy up some extra Hive which was nice. Unfortunately, support seems to be a little lower just above $0.23, down from $0.25 earlier in the week. It's a great time to pick up some Hive at a good price though.

This week, like always, I'll be sharing a Saturday Savers update post. I joined the group sometime ago to help me focus on achieving financial goals on Hive. It really has worked, and I recommend it to anyone wanting to grow their Hive account. Normally I like to share new projects I'm really exited about, but I haven't found anything recently that has changed my investments. Hopefully that changes the next couple of weeks!
However, I'm very bullish on silver as you will see below.
Hive Power
This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP.
Current HP: 8,753 (87.5%) complete
Goal HP: 10,000
I increased my HP by 162 this week, which is a little better than average. Doing some quick math in my head, if I can average 150 HP a week for the next 8 weeks I should reach my goal. I plan on getting there sooner by powering up some extra along the way as long Hive is still relatively inexpensive.
Then onto to newer heights... But I have to get to 10K first!

My secondary goal of the year. Great token that is backed by both BTC and physical silver. I'm slowly heading for 100K!

DUO
Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day as well. For those who stake 500 or more you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well.
On an exciting note, DUO just sold out of it's second tranche of tokens, the third tranche is now priced at 1.5 Hive each!

As the price has gone up I will have to start cutting back on the amount I give away each Sunday.

EDSI
This week I added two tokens to my stack. I'm trying to pick up a few each week to make it to 200 by the end of the year. Slow but steady progress!
EDSI: 137 (68.5% complete)
Goal: 200
This token pays out liquid Hive dividends weekly and once you have over 100 it offers curation on quality posts. At 200 the dividends will be better as will be the curations.
CCD
I continue to hold this token and slowly picking up more. This is a project by the @cryptocompany and has some nice benefits. Those who hold one million staked can claim one HSBI daily, if you have 500K staked you can claim an HSBI twice a week, and at 100K staked you can claim an HSBI once a month.
CCD current: 527,000 roughly (52.8% of the goal)
Soft goal: 1,000,000
@powerpaul runs this project and is currently doing a massive overhaul of his site. As a result prices are down a bit, it may be a good time to get in before all the changes are finalized. In the meantime I enjoy claiming my two HSBI a week!
Silver and Gold
Silver has had a phenomenal week and is sitting just under $36 per Troy ounce. I still think it will hit $40 before years end, but we may see a pullback in the short term if people take some profits. Gold did see a pullback, but I still think it is going to reach $4,000 per Troy ounce before the end of the year. Both are solid bets in my book, especially silver.

If you don't own any precious metals or just looking for some good deals. I found this over at APMEX.com. Every week I like to share something that I think is a great deal, and a Kookaburra from Australia is a nice coin!

Normally you would be paying $42.21 for one of these, but they're on sale for
$40.71 at the time of writing. That's 26% off premium price, and it's tough to find a Kookaburra priced this well right now. The nice thing about APMEX for those here in the US is that they accept Bitcoin for payment, so you can buy without having to use fiat at all.
Historically gold and silver are a great way to build wealth, and are always a smart investment in anyone's portfolio.
I haven't changed my holdings in any other projects, but I am looking for something new and promising. If you have found something new and exciting please let me know. I'm always looking for some new, solid investments.
