Hello there! @saydie here, manually playing Splinterlands everyday!
Conclave Arcana was the most recent card set in Splinterlands and has redefined the gameplay through its Bloodline Dominion mechanics that allows units to be summoned regardless of their element as long as they share the same bloodline with the Archon and even get additional abilities and stats. as of the moment, 6 Archons which have the Bloodline Dominion and one of them was the Dwarves Bloodline which I talked about last week.
This time, I want to talk about the Gnomes Bloodline which I think has one of the most interesting Bloodline mechanic on the currently available cards as it gives one of the new abilities that was introduced in the new set.
The Gnomes Bloodline
The Gnomes reach adulthood by around 40 years old and can live for over 200 years. They can be distinguished by their large head, large eyes and ears and a short torso and legs. The only way to recognized an elderly gnome is through their facial wrinkles and graying hair, particularly at the temples.
In Conclave Arcana, the Gnome that has become the first Archon was Rzi Clanktrap, which used to be a simple adventurer, venturing on the Daigendark caverns but after she was thought by Bren Palesworn to turn her pain into power, she were able to fought the hordes of undead, threatening the gnomes. As an archon, she gives the Close Range ability to all ally range units and for its Bloodline Dominion, She gives the Painforge ability that increases the damage of the card whenever they are damaged by Poison or Burning, or hit by an ally.

This is where it gets interesting because by intentionally inflicting damage to your own units, they will be able to gain more power but at the same time, it also involves the risk of your defeat. Right now, there are many ways to trigger Painforge. This includes Electrified, Incendiary, Reckless, Resurgence and Soul Siphon.
Conclave Arcana Dwarf Units
Just like with the Dwarves, there are currently 7 cards that belongs to the Conclave Arcana Core set. Three of these are units that belong to the Death element, similar to the Archon while the there is 1 gnomes in water, fire, life and neutral element.
Also, one thing to note is that among the Gnomes is Falipana Weslinath which is the second card to have the Mimic ability that can copy other abilities from the opponent.

The gnomes unit are a mix of low and mid mana cards which is great for low and mid mana battles. Since that was the case most of the cards does not particularly have high amount of health so if you want to use its Bloodline Dominion ability, better to prepare some healers within your team. Fortunately, amongst the Gnomes, Water Diviner, has the Electrified Debilitation while Deep Delver has the Corrupted Healing ability so as long as this cards were available, we will be able to sustain the damage our units received and activate Painforge at the same time.
It is kind of a suicide but Painforge also works during Noxious fumes ruleset.

Aside from the seven Gnomes, there are also three other Conclave Arcana units that can benefit from the Bloodline Dominion ability of Fifthe Bladestone and that was because they have the Shapeshift ability, making this cards of the same bloodline.

All in all, there are 10 units that can synergize and get the Painforge ability through Razi Clanktrap's Bloodline Dominion.
Gnome Units from Other Sets
When it comes to other sets, there is one Gnome unit in the Foundation Set and 7 Gnome cards in Rebellion set that can be used in modern format. Aside from that, there were three more Gnome cards in Chaos Legion for a total of 11 units. Unfortunately, older card sets does not have any Gnome units.
Foundation Set
Yeah... The new foundation set also brings to us another Gnome unit. As of the moment, it was only something that can be acquired in the campaign mode and is only at level 1 but plans for it to be purchasable in packs and tradeable as well as its level progression is in the works.
Rebellion

Most of the Gnome Rebellion cards does not have an attack so to make use of them, you need a card with weapon's training ability to capitalize on those Painforge damage boost.

Closing
And that was my initial assessment to the Dwarf Bloodline of Conclave Arcana. Not counting the Gnomes from the other sets, the card in Conclave Arcana involves a high risk, high reward gameplay when using their Bloodline Dominion. Well, that just means that players need to play smarter when playing this cards but that kind of risk makes the game more interesting.
Thank you and see you on the next post!
