Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I have been seeing a lot of posts about the Pokémon TCG Pocket game. Many are sharing their collections or game strategies. It has been a long time since I shared my collection in the game. Since then, I have collected a lot more cards. Not at the same pace as I was doing earlier, and mostly collecting free packs here and there, wherever I can remember to open them up.
Before I show you my entire collection and the cards I love the most, let me show you what I got today by opening 10 packs of the Extradimensional Crisis set. Do you think I will get any super rare or shiny super rares?
I just had 28 out of the 69 unique cards from this set before opening these. That's why you can see many new card labels popping up. The highlight came from the pack no. 6 (around 1:12 on the video), where I got a shiny Celebi Ex. This is one of my favourite cards in the game. I love the artwork on this, and I had a similar card from another set.
When I checked later, I found that I already had 3 more Celebi Ex cards. One of them wasn't this rare, and one was even an immersive card.

The others are from the Mythical Islands set, with the middle one being an immersive artwork which plays a little animation when you tap on it. Such a cool concept.
These cards seem to be very rare, too. I just have 4 of these out of over 2000 cards that I own in this game.

That Pikachu Ex was the first such card I got, and it surprised me back then. The latest one I got was the Giratana Ex from the Shining Revelry Set. I love each one of those and will never trade them for anything.
An interesting Set of cards that I feel are much rarer than the cards look is the Promo-A card set. As the name suggests, they are part of promotional events and such activities, so I think they are even harder to get. I just have 32 of them so far, mainly because I am not very active in these events and barely complete any. Especially when an event requires some x number of wins in battles, I would never bother to get it.

I don't pay much attention to other areas in the game, like battling or trading. Not that I did not try them. I have played many games, mostly solo battles at the start to learn the game. I liked the game, but my complaint was the extremely slow pace. It was too boring for me to sit through 10 minutes for a game, mostly waiting for your opponent to play a card. (I have been that annoying opponent many times too lol).
Even without doing anything of importance in the app other than collecting those free packs and claiming my rewards almost daily, I have somehow achieved 32 levels. Most of it must be because of all the collecting rewards I received.
I seem to have a lot of trophies too. Again, most of them are for collecting x number of this type of Pokémon, y number of that type of Pokémon and so on. But more than 2000 cards is no joke. I wasn't even serious about collecting these cards at first, and just tried the game when it came out fresh to see what everyone was talking about. I loved the artworks on those cards, and it drew me towards them.

If you have been collecting these cards, too. Do share your experience with me and some of your prized possessions. I would also love to know your thoughts about my little collection.
Thanks for reading...
Until next card...
