After my total thyroidectomy, final pathological report of the removed gland and lymph nodes showed metastasis on one out of the 30 lymph nodes. Diagnosis was reversed from Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma to Papillary Thyroid Microcarcinoma which was somehow a good news. My main surgeon did his best to remove my thyroid where the malignant node was and even told me I don't need RAI but my ENT wanted to make so she

Radioactive Iodine Therapy (RAI) is very stressful and required a 1-month home isolation. My boyfriend had to stay in their house in Mandaue during this time; I didn't want to risk his safety. When I was cleared of radioactive substance in my body, we went out for a much needed meal together. There were two things to celebrate: (1) I've nailed my RAI therapy and (2) my scan showed no distant metastasis. The scan lit up only near my thryoid bed and indication that all is how they're supposed to be.

We were supposed to eat at Wildfire Fusion Restaurant but when we got there, a long queue welcomed us. We weren't in a state to wait so we checked out other restaurants and chanced upon an empty Calm Street. In my personal knowledge, there are two branches of Calm Street. One is here in Banawa Centrale and the other one is in the Bonifacio District. I've tried their branch at Bonifacio District before and I'll show what my friends and I ordered, for now, let's discover their outlet at Banawa Centrale.

Upon entry, we were greeted with their top-tier hospitality. We chose the corner right behind their glass wall and choose our food amongst their respectable menu. Below are what we ordered and their respected prices. Their food was really good except the buffalo chicken which I find a bit bland.

Buffalo Wings -> Php 345
Calm Street Chops -> Php 725
Pad Thai -> Php 375

In another occasion, my friends and I visited their Bonifacio District Branch and we ordered the following:

Salmon -> Php 675
Shrimp Taco -> Php 345
Pad Thai -> Php 375

For dessert, we got White Chocolate Cheesecake -> Php 375 and Brownie ala Mode -> Php 300. Both were to die for!

Maybe it's just me or my odd taste buds but I find the food at their Bonifacio Branch better than at Banawa Centrale. But in terms of customer service, both were exceptionally notable. You'll be served like kings and queens. Kudos to the management for maintaining such high standard not just in their food but also in their service. I highly recommend this restaurant!
