Yesterday I woke up early in the morning just like every day, normally my mornings start with a cup of coffee no matter the time or how hot it is already at that time, however yesterday was very different because I had a visit with my doctor for a routine checkup, in which by the way I came out with all my blood pressure levels perfect, the truth is that I thought I would have a bad blood pressure because I have not slept as I should nor rested as I am supposed to, honestly the heat makes my stress skyrocket, I did not eat breakfast because they would also measure the glucose in my blood, something that had me worried because the last few days I ate a lot of mangoes because in the area where I live there are many mango producers and the cost of the fruit is cheap, however everything went well and I am happy.
After leaving the doctor's office I went to my sister's house for breakfast, after spending some time there I decided I wanted to go to the park to take pictures, something that as I told you in the previous post I haven't walked to the park in a while and I got a surprise, bad one by the way, I almost couldn't even go around the park because half way there I felt like I was going to faint, seriously the heat is so humid that after a few steps I was already drenched in sweat.
Anyway I continued on my way, the goal was to take pictures and although I have already shown you pictures of the park in different occasions I almost never take pictures at this hour, (almost noon), so it is not strange to have felt bad with so much heat, here are the pictures.
We started with the photograph that had the greatest impact on me, the level of the water in the wetland is so low that I was literally able to take the picture from a place that is normally below the water level.
Due to the harsh sunlight it was difficult to have a good contrast without being overdone and without the need for HDR.
Something that surprised me a lot was to see clam shells, I didn't know there were clams in this place, snails yes but not clams, or at least I don't remember seeing them before.
I have taken many, so many pictures of this area before, and today was no exception, the truth is that I liked the color and by the way the small ducks that are at the bottom of the right side, they should be swimming but as the wetland is low, they were just standing there observing the environment.
I couldn't resist showing the color photo, my bad.
And the last picture of the day, honestly sometimes I imagine what it would feel like to be a duck, without worries apparently but with the freedom to fly, dive into the water to cool off and rest, I say this because seriously if I bathe 3 times in the day, the three times I'm already sweating 1 minute after coming out of the shower, see you.
