Today I want to share a photoshoot I did in my studio for a guy who works as a barber. He contacted me because he needed some professional photographs because, as he told me, he was having an event soon and needed these photos for some advertising flyers.
Since he's a barber, we had to include his work tools in the photos to evoke that theme.
Hoy les quiero compartir una sesion de fotos que hice en mi estudio para un chico que trabaja como Barbero, el me contactó porque estaba necesitando unas fotografías profesionales ya que, como el me dijo, pronto haría un evento y necesitaba estas fotos para unos flyers publicitarios.
Como es barbero, teniamos que incluir sus herramientas de trabajo en las fotografias para así evocar ese tema:
We tried different poses to get a variety of shots, and then in post production, we selected our favorites.
Fuimos probando diferentes poses para tener variedad en las fotos y luego en la post produccion, escogimos las que mas nos gustaron.
It's rare to find guys as photogenic as he was, he looked great in every shot. He was very easy to work with and had a really cool friendly vibe!
Es muy poco frecuente encontrarme a chicos tan fotogenicos como este, pero si que lo era y se veia bien en todas las fotos, fue muy facil trabajar con el, ademas de que tenia una vibra muy cool!
For all the photos, I used my Canon R8 camera with a 50mm lens at f/2.8 and two light sources: a flash with a diffuser as the main light, positioned 45 degrees from the subject, and an LED light panel as a secondary light behind the subject to create a rim-lighting effect.
Para todas las fotos utilicé mi camara Canon R8 con un lente 50mm a 2.8/F y dos puntos de luces, un flash con difusor como luz principal a 45 grados de la persona y un panel de luz led como luz segundaria, detras de la persona para crear un efecto de recorte.
We took the following photos with him seated, for which I used a posing cube on the set.
Las siguientes fotos las hicimos con el chico sentado, para eso puse el cubo de foto pose en el set :
The guy wanted his leg tattoo to show, so I positioned him slightly to the side to highlight it more.
El chico queria que su tatuaje (el de la pierna ) se viera asi que lo posicioné un poco mas de lado para que lo mostrara un poco mas:
Since his tattoo was important to him, I suggested the next shot, and he loved it!
Ya que su tatuaje era importante para el propuse hacer la siguiente foto y al chico le encantó!
At this point in the photoshoot, we were satisfied with the results and decided to wrap it up. He was super happy with his photos.
