Feliz de saludarlos queridos hivers, hoy en mi trabajo fue un día muy especial por celebrarse el Día del Libro y del Idioma, por lo que mis compañeros de trabajo del área de Lengua e Idiomas nos encargamos de organizar una actividad que se presentó durante el cívico de hoy para conmemorar tan importante fecha, para ello contamos con la participación de 3 estudiantes que se encargaron de relatar cuentos de su autoría y deleitarnos con algunos poemas en Inglés a fin de resaltar la importancia de la literatura en un mundo cada vez más influenciado por la tecnología, además se expuso un stand para mostrar los libros artesanales que elaboraron los estudiantes de las diferentes secciones dejándolos luego a disposición del público presente para su lectura.
La actividad inició a las 7 am por lo que dejamos el stand listo con las columnas de globos en la oficina ayer por la tarde antes de irnos, para encargarnos hoy solo del sonido, se incorporó un practicante de la Universidad de Oriente, quien acompañó con su cuatro las notas de Himno Nacional y las de Estado Sucre. A pesar de que el acto estuvo sencillo en comparación con el que organizamos el año pasado, ya que a las 8 am continuábamos con el 2.º día de la Feria de Ciencias, se logró motivar a los estudiantes a leer, resaltando la importancia que tiene la literatura para impulsar su creatividad y enriquecer su vocabulario. Además, mis compañeros del Área de Inglés y yo le hicimos entrega a la Coordinadora de la Biblioteca 6 Diccionarios de Inglés como herramienta que facilitara el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en esta área de estudio.

The activity began at 7 am so we left the stand ready with the columns of balloons in the office yesterday afternoon before leaving, to take care of the sound today only, an intern from the Universidad de Oriente joined us, who accompanied with his four the notes of the National Anthem and the notes of the State of Sucre. Although the event was simple compared to the one we organized last year, since at 8 am we continued with the 2nd day of the Science Fair, we managed to motivate students to read, highlighting the importance of literature to boost their creativity and enrich their vocabulary. In addition, my colleagues from the English Department and I presented the Library Coordinator with 6 English Dictionaries as a tool to facilitate the teaching and learning process in this area of study.
