You have probably heard about Donald Trump's feud with Elon Musk and their disagreement over fiscal policies; it is widely reported that Musk lost $34 billion in one day.

You would think that Trump would consider the support of his very good friend before making tax reforms that will affect his friend's business, but then Perhaps they were not really friends from the start; Musk may have wanted a business associate who could legalize his dealings and give him more access to the US economy, whereas Trump wanted a political ally who owns and controls arguably the largest online social construct.

Perhaps it was purely a business relationship. However, if this were the case, why would Musk be jumping up and down like a five-year-old in one of Trump's campaigns alone?

Maybe it was just love?

I don't think so.

I mean, if I were one of the world's wealthiest people and needed to campaign for my candidate, I would probably stay at home and do so in part by pushing my Twitter minion to spread narrative and bend political favoritism towards Trump, but it appeared that Elon believed he would benefit more from Trump being president, and he probably used everything in his arsenal.

As for Trump, he probably felt he would become president even without the help of Musk (this might not have been the case). However, I do not see Musk as a political ally; without Twitter, he would likely be another electoral oligarch with no political power. Having money is not the same as having power, and I believe Musk became a trustworthy ally primarily because of Twitter, rather than his space exploits, Tesla, or other crypto-related activities.

However, Trump is the last person I want to be allies with; he is erratic in his decisions and does not appear to be a person with principles; if he were, Musk would not be using his platform to express dissatisfaction with fiscal policies; in fact, perhaps these were the exact policies Musk wanted Trump to realign to his advantage, and the fact that he has not is why he chose to vent his frustrations.

A rich man's wealth is all he is

If you want to irritate a wealthy man, you can touch his wife, children, or anything else, but not his wealth. Why?because this is their very essence. This is why they sell their souls, mortgage themselves, and engage in crazy partnerships. They can have more wives and children, but they will never have more wealth.

On the other hand, maybe Musk could have called Trump on the phone and settled all these behind closed doors, (perhaps he did and Trump did not budge) or perhaps Trump could have consulted Elon on the decisions, but then again, if I was Musk, I would probably make sure that Trump's political manifesto and views align with the success of my business before going into a shameless partnership with him, but then again, maybe he did and Trump assured him, or just maybe he did not ask

Politicians & Trust: a parallel line

If you believe you can trust politicians, you are a big fool. They are the next liars after Satan. For me, Trump may be a smart billionaire, but he is politically inept and a doll baby, the manifestation of this fallout provides proof.

Trump is not your typical politician, as we all know, and look at how he has single-handedly destroyed all of the diplomatic relationships his predecessor had in place by simply launching a tariff war with other countries.

For us crypto folks who thought he was the next big thing, all he has done is to launch a meme coin, suck up liquidity from retail, and keep giving insider's information to his goons with this tariff wars.

If you think that being a billionaire is the next big thing, then trying being POTUS for only one week. You can crash the price of any commodity, gold, crypto, silver, anything with just a single press conference, go back, bull post these assets again, especially since you've bought lower.

My point is that Trump has nothing to lose by choosing to devalue Musk's wealth; however, Musk stands to lose so much, which is why he has expressed his dissatisfaction, prompting Trump's response.

Will they settle this?

Maybe, but I just think that relationships has been severed and van never be the same. It's like trying to patch a broken egg.

Whatever happens next, Musk will no longer be bullish on Trump. He has probably learned the hard way that billionaires shouldn't be publicly bullish on politicians.

You can meet with them behind closed doors and enter into whatever partnership you want.

Once you have created a bullish construct on any politician using your platform and portfolio, you can never undo it, especially since that politician is not even running for reelection. Politicians are evil geniuses, which is why you can not trust them. I am curious to see how all of this plays out; BTC and alts have taken a significant hit as a result of this news; we will see how it goes.
