I finished with my occupations today just at midday and so I decided to do a street walk just at that time and waiting to feel a little more hungry to then proceed to take my lunch... That's how in the middle of a capricious weather, with a very high humidity and a temperature around 33°C, I ended up wandering through the streets of the town and being able to take some interesting pictures, which you can enjoy below...
Terminé con mis ocupaciones hoy justo al mediodía y así que decidí hacer una caminata callejera justo a esa hora y a la espera de sentir un poco más de hambre para entonces proceder a tomar mi almuerzo... Así fue como en medio de un clima caprichoso, con una humedad muy alta y una temperatura cercana a los 33°C, terminé deambulando por las calles del pueblo y pudiendo hacer algunas fotografías interesantes, las cuales ustedes podrán disfrutar a continuación...

The town, in spite of the crazy weather, had some activity, so I was able to take a few interesting pictures at this hour which is not my usual time to go out to take street photos... In fact, some people, like my friend Andres (in photo 02) immediately expressed their surprise to see me in the street at midday and also taking pictures...
El pueblo, a pesar de enloquecido clima, tenía cierta actividad, así que pude hacer unas cuantas fotografía interesantes en esta hora la cual no es la que más acostumbro para salir a hacer fotos callejeras... De hecho, algunas personas, como mi amigo Andrés (en la foto 02) me manifestaron de inmediato su extrañeza al verme en la calle en horas del mediodía y además haciendo fotografías...

I took with me my old (and never well pondered) 18-55 mm kit lens... It's funny, but this thing has been in my possession for almost two decades, it's never had fungus appear on it and the times I use it it usually works perfectly. Plus, it's really fun to use it for street photography, it's moderately bright, at f/7.1 and ISO 800 you can spend the day shooting from morning to late afternoon with no problems, not having a lot of background blur, all things appear pretty sharp and there's that “eloquent charm” of the photos almost like when you look at them with your eyes directly... I've met many people who keep their kit lenses and don't speak very good about them, but when less this one from my old Nikon is a very good street guy undoubtedly, so I think I'll use it more often... The other thing I can say about this guy is: he weighs practically nothing!... and that, at this point in my life, is something to be grateful for...
Llevé conmigo mi viejo (y nunca bien ponderado) "lente del kit 18-55 mm"... Es curioso, pero esta cosa lleva casi dos décadas en mi poder, nunca le han aparecido hongos y las veces que lo uso suele funcionar perfectamente. Además, es realmente divertido usarlo para hacer fotos de calle, es medianamente luminoso, a f/7.1 e ISO 800 se puede pasar el día disparando desde la mañana hasta final de la tarde sin problemas, al no tener un gran desenfoque de fondo, todas las cosas aparecen bastante nítidas y hay ese "encanto elocuente" de las fotos casi como cuando se miran con los ojos directamente... He conocido muchas personas que guardan sus lentes de kit y no hablan muy bien de ellos, pero cuando menos este de mi vieja Nikon es un tío muy bueno para las calles indudablemente, así que creo que lo usaré con más frecuencia... Lo otro que puedo decir de este tío es que: ¡prácticamente no pesa nada!... y eso, a estas alturas de mi vida, es algo que se agradece...
