Well, I have had a very busy week and have therefore been dropping into Hive when I’m near dead from exhaustion, writing a short post, then falling asleep or running off to the next thing.
And you know what happens with you just barely manage to get a post written before collapsing, right? You don’t do the all-important interaction and community building you want to do!
So I hope to get back to it in the next few days. Meanwhile, I’ll share some pictures from my walk around my neighborhood.
The deer love my friend’s house. It is situated right on a pond, which may be the appeal for them.
I recently put up a turtle crossing sign because turtles cross right there to get from one pond to another, and last year we lost a couple to drivers who either couldn’t stop in time or didn’t see them. I haven’t seen any turtle carcasses this year so I hope that means it’s working!
Another thing we have an abundance of in my neighborhood is bunnies. They are everywhere. As I stroll along the street they always stop and stare at me, then scamper off if I get too close.
We have a lot of gardeners in the neighborhood. It makes for a very visually appealing walk!
