Tasting shawarma at Arabissimo [ENG/ESP]

In recent days I went out with my family, my daughter and my wife, for a walk around the east side of the city near where I live, in order to eat something delicious and that was not pepitos, or burgers, or pizza, I wanted to eat something different and at the same time healthy.

I remembered that every day I pass by a business that specializes in Arabic food, especially shawarma, so I told my family that we should park there since they had a promotion of shawarma three for 10 dollars. I told him that it caught my attention because whenever I pass by the place, which is usually at night, I see that the place is full of diners, which means that they must prepare very good shawarma.

We arrived at the place, we settled in, the waiters were very attentive and at once took us the menu and explained what they were offering, when we asked about the promotion if there was one, but the promotion was from Monday to Thursday and we went on a Sunday, however what varied is that for Sundays there is no promotion and each one comes out in four dolars.

Anyway, we ordered them with a fresh cola, the service was fast and the order was also very fast. This shawarma came with lettuce, chicken milanesa, tomato, onion and parsley salad and Arabic sauces.

I tell you that it was very tasty, both my wife and my daughter were delighted and eager to visit this place again.

The texture of the bread was very soft and with a very rich flavor. I have eaten at other places but not like this delicious one.
In addition they served us a yogurt sauce that was finger licking good. As for the place, very nice and clean, with a very soft and instrumental background music to sit down to spend a nice evening and chat a lot, it is very cozy.

This place has two areas: one at the entrance that overlooks Lara Avenue, where you can enjoy the view, watch the passers-by in their cars and take in the natural air because it is a terrace. Going upstairs you will find another area of the restaurant that is more elegant, it is quite large, its chairs are normal with a not very modern style.

En días pasados salí en compañía de mi familia, formada por mi hija y mi esposa a dar una vuelta por el este de la ciudad cerca de donde resido, con el fin de cenar algo rico y que no fuese ni pepitos, ni hamburguesas, ni pizza, quería comer algo diferente y a la vez sano.

Recordé que todos los días paso por un negocio que es especialista en comida árabe, especialmente de shawarma, por lo que le dije a mi familia que nos estacionáramos ahí ya que tenían una promoción de shawarma tres por 10 dólares. Le comente que me llamaba la atención ya que siempre que paso por el sitio, que es por lo general es en las noche, veo que el lugar esta lleno de comensales, lo que quiere decir que deben prepararlos muy buenos.

Llegamos al local, nos acomodamos, los meseros muy atentos de una vez nos llevaron la carta y nos explicaron lo que estaban ofreciendo, al preguntar por la promoción nos dijeron que era de lunes a jueves y nosotros fuimos un día domingo, sin embargo lo que variaba es que para los domingos cada shawarma sale en cuatro dólares.

De todas maneras los ordenamos con refresco de colita, la atención fue rápida y el pedido también fue muy rápido. Este shawarma venía acompañado de lechuga, milanesa de pollo, ensalada de tomate, cebolla, perejil y salsas árabes.

La verdad que estaba muy rico tanto mi esposa como mi hija quedaron encantadas y con ganas de volver a visitar este local.

La textura del pan muy suave y con un sabor delicioso. Yo he comido árabe en otros sitios pero como este tan delicioso no.

Adicional nos sirvieron una salsa de yogurt que estaba de chuparse los dedos. En cuanto al local muy bonito y limpio, con una música de fondo muy suave e instrumental como para sentarse a pasar una linda noche y conversar bastante, es muy acogedor.

Este local tiene dos áreas: una al entrar que da a la avenida Lara, donde puedes disfrutar la vista que tiene, ver pasar los transeúntes en sus carros y tomar aire natural porque es una terraza. A subir se encuentra otra área del restaurante que es más elegante, es bastante grande, sus sillas son normales con un estilo no muy moderno.
