Welcome to another post!

It seems unbelievable, but it's been so long since I've posted here that I don't even remember how to start a game review!

I'm sharing this game that I recently bought on a friend's recommendation. He described it as a GTA cop game, and I just thought the premise was too cool to miss.

I found myself feeling like a real cop. Not an invincible action hero, nor an undercover agent on impossible missions, but a young patrolman roaming rain-soaked streets in a fictional 1980s city, where every corner seems to hide a crime and a story.

Something quite different from GTA.

GTA is supposed to be a satire of American society; here, it's more of a CSI-style police drama with a perspective reminiscent of the old GTA games, but looking to do something unique. We're a police officer starting out in his new station.

Let's learn everything there is to learn, like how to drive a police car, how to approach bank robbers and common thieves, and how to arrest and bring them to justice. It's practically a simulator of how to be a police officer. Police

After a brief introduction, we get into the car with our partner on duty and hit the streets. In this segment of the game, we're given a basic rundown, getting a feel for how the game's top-down isometric view works. We can navigate the map and use a cursor to decide what we want. do

There's a much more serious approach, where we can patrol a crime-ridden city, respond to random crimes that happen throughout the night, and also conduct business or search for information on the city's various gangs. Locals

We can use our vehicle to patrol or go on foot. I was surprised that each of these options has its own flow and way of being. If we are on patrol, we probably won't hear what is being said on the streets. We only have our radio to find out about different crimes and calls from emergency

On the other hand, if we walk, we can enter food establishments, ask questions if we're conducting an investigation, or simply mingle with people on the streets. Although we'll always have the routine of daily crimes in the city, each call is a random event unless it's a main mission of the game, making each game different

These crimes are most often typical robberies or misunderstandings between people, but every now and then we may encounter a major robbery that can quickly escalate into a chase or a shooting. In that case, we may call in reinforcements to deal with this type of incident. events

Police chases are my favorite parts of the game. In GTA, you could throw a grenade and end it all if you want to catch up with a car. But here, if we go even a little overboard, we can commit a crime and get suspended. So, we have to focus on neutralizing the robbers, getting them off the streets, and putting them on the back foot. bars

I think this game was heavily inspired by L.A. Noir and its aesthetics to bring the city we operate in to life. Even though it has day and night cycles, it has a Gotham City vibe, especially because there's crime everywhere, and we'll always be doing something.

And when we think our equipment isn't enough to take down the criminals, we can upgrade them, as well as our patrol or team. I'm still not sure how deep this is, but seeing it as a simple system, it's not so bad.

The first hour of playing is quite confusing because the controls, for example, driving, are often too realistic, and you end up not braking in time on a curve or missing an intersection that leads you to the criminals. I would have liked more of an option to change the way you drive.

I'm not complaining about the game they've released, I need more time to explore the entire city but so far I've had fun with the combination of inspirations it has, I noticed a lot of CSI as well as L.A. Noire which interested me a lot in the first trailers I saw for the game, there's content coming for this game Jets

Regarding whether this is a police GTA, I think it's closer to its own thing. There are elements reminiscent of the early GTAs where you had the camera in a different position, but overall I think it's quite distinct.

You can also give me your opinions. I think this game always has something new to say on the different review sites. Some say it's excellent, others say it lacks originality and gameplay polish.

I tell you it's fun. Don't expect anything impressive, but I do think it's enjoyable if you put yourself in the role of a rookie cop who comes to clean up. the city
