Rainy Days
A random walk through the city while the rain starts pouring again. Been a few months with just the hot and dry summer sun on my back. The sound and feel of the rain is something you'd miss after some time...
I salute the working class who keeps on pushing on, rain or shine, doesn't matter. With nothing but his cheap helmet and raincoat for armor, he braves the storm.
No barriers or gates can stop them, they toil to pay the toll when needed. It's unfair but life goes on.
They save us from the rain with their 3-wheeled chariot born of sweat and tears they haven't paid off yet. But they do it with a smile, sometimes hidden.
And as all of us walk by the dirt road, splashing mud onto our feet. Trying to keep our backs dry from the monsoon with our trusty umbrellas. We see signs, signs of challenges ahead, but we won't stop... and we march on.
