After the announcement of a few months ago, the Campaign mode has finally been released, although at the moment it is only the tutorial for new players who are approaching the world of Splinterlands for the first time. There has been a lot of talk about a marketing campaign that could attract new players but basically it would be very complicated to explain what Splinterlands is and how to start playing from the basic information that is around.
So here we are at BOOK 1 entitled WAUR MEDGE ACCADEMY in which the new player is introduced to the basic concepts of the game and guided step by step by Professor Magnus Flint who explains the difference between the various types of attack, what armor is, what speed is for and the importance of preserving health points. For each chapter passed, the user gets some cards and a handful of GLINT tokens, the bare minimum necessary to start competing and above all to understand the dynamics of the game.
For us veteran players, all this might seem obvious, but for a new player it is really essential to understand the dynamics of the game... By playing! This is what essentially happens a bit for any game and this will be of great help to all players. I'm really curious to understand what will be in BOOK 2, which should still be a tutorial because there is still so much to explain 😊

If you haven't understood yet, we are at the beginning of the marketing campaign because having created a clear and simple tutorial for new players is among the most concrete things that can be done. In fact, a large-scale advertising campaign would have mild effects if the ease of the game was low. And the game is fantastic but also very complex! Good job, team! Dopo l'annuncio di qualche mese, la modalità Campagna è stata finalmente rilasciata, sebbene al momento si tratta solo del tutorial per i neo giocatori che si affacciano al mondo di Splinterlands per la prima volta. Si è parlato molto di una campagna di marketing che possa attrarre nuovi giocatori ma sostanzialmente sarebbe molto complicato spiegare cosa sia Splinterlands e come iniziare a giocare dalle informazioni basilari che ci sono in giro.
Così eccoci alla BOOK 1 dal titolo WAUR MEDGE ACCADEMY in cui il nuovo giocatore è introdotto ai concetti base del gioco e guidato passo dopo passo dal Professor Magnus Flint che ci spiega la differenza tra i vari tipi di attacco, cos'è l'armatura, a cosa serve la velocità e l'importanza di preservare i punti salute. Per ogni capitolo superato, l'utente ottiene alcune carte e una manciata di token GLINT, lo stretto necessario per iniziare a gareggiare e soprattutto a comprendere le dinamiche di gioco.
Per noi giocatori veterani, tutto ciò potrebbe sembrare ovvio, ma per un nuovo giocatore è davvero fondamentale comprendere le dinamiche di gioco... Giocando! È ciò che avviene essenzialmente un po' per qualsiasi gioco e ciò sarà di grande aiuto per tutti i players. Sono davvero molto curioso di comprendere cosa ci sarà nel BOOK 2, che dovrebbe essere ancora un tutorial perché c'è ancora così tanto da spiegare 😊
Davvero un ottimo lavoro da parte del nostro team! Se ancora non l'hai capito, siamo all'inizio della campagna di marketing perché aver creato un tutorial chiaro e semplice per i nuovi giocatori è tra le cose più concrete che si possano realizzare. Infatti, una campagna pubblicitaria su larga scala, avrebbe effetti blandi se la facilità del gioco risultasse bassa. Ed il gioco è fantastico ma anche molto complesso! Bene così, team! Ogni giorno Splinterlands da passi da gigante!
