English translation by AI for someone who is interested in my post but from other countries:

Since December 23rd of last year, nearly half a year has passed, and during this time, I’ve invited some friends to HIVE to share our lives, experiencing all the ups and downs along the way. Watching my friends treat this as a meaningful thing with such enthusiasm makes me genuinely happy. I’ve also become the first fan of their posts. Whenever they publish, I go to browse, look at the pictures, read the content, and feel the warmth of their lives through these images and words. Of course, I also hope that they will follow the rules of our Chinese community and gradually meet the standards of original literature set by our community. I would like to express my gratitude to the big bosses in our Chinese community for their understanding and tolerance, allowing us ample time to grow.

Recently, I checked the ranking of new friends invited by us, and found that our Chinese community is leading in the number of new people invited through the LIKETU invitation link, with 60 registered accounts (excluding those who registered incorrectly), and around 38 of them have posted. Of course, a few more friends are expected to post soon. One of them is preparing diligently and has even mentioned they are preparing a series of posts. Over the past half-year, some people have come and gone, but those who stayed are our most loyal friends. I hope that together we can develop the Chinese community, turning it into a shining light in HIVE, illuminating more Chinese people, and building a better life and community with many other HIVERS.

Friends who received education in China cannot resist the temptation of rankings. I remember the first time I appeared on a ranking list was when I was in elementary school. Because my Chinese scores were among the top, I could see my name listed in the top two positions on the red list at school. However, math didn’t have the same luck. I often lagged behind in math, so my overall grade was middle-to-high level. In the sixth grade, for certain reasons, I began to tackle math seriously. I would sit at home every day, doing math problems, repeating different problem-solving methods, and eventually, I started to grasp it. By the time I graduated elementary school, my combined scores in Chinese and math reached 188 out of 200, and I finally became the top student in the whole school.

In the first year of junior high, I wanted to receive a better education, so I went to the junior high school in the town. Our village’s elementary and junior high schools were already abandoned and no longer operating. When I first started junior high, although a relative arranged for me to be placed in a class, I found myself standing outside the class, unsure. There wasn’t a single familiar face, and my childhood friends were assigned to other classes, so I hesitated—what was I going to do alone? During those lonely years, I poured my heart into studying subjects like Chinese, math, and English, and fortunately, I became the top student in the entire school during the first-year final exams. At that time, there were about ten or more classes, each with about sixty students, and the second-place student’s score was several dozen points lower than mine.

Although I got into a prestigious high school, I made the decision to choose the science track, which wasn’t really beneficial for me. The reason at the time was rather ridiculous: I thought I would never study science again, so I should really focus on it during these three years. In fact, I have no aptitude for science at all. For example, during my first chemistry experiment in junior high, when the teacher created a precipitate and asked what it was, I blurted out, “It’s white cloud.” I still remember the chemistry teacher’s bewildered expression. Since I had ranked first, I had “read my script” in front of the entire school, so basically, all the teachers knew me as a “top student.” How could such a “top student” give such an irrelevant answer? That was probably when I shocked everyone.
