Les cuento que unos días antes de irme de Bogotá junto a Fer y mi suegra visitamos una tienda asiática increíble donde a demás de tomarnos a la tarea de ver cada uno de sus productos también decidimos comprar algunas cosas, su nombre es Y&Y Asian Market y queda ubicada en la carrera 15 con 102.
La verdad es que la fachada del lugar es muy bonita, es una gran bodega con algunos espejos en dorado que llaman la atención. Para que tus compras sean más cómodas tienen la opción de los carritos bien sea pequeño o grande dependiendo de la cantidad de productos que desees adquirir, nosotros escogimos el pequeño pensando que serían pocas pero nos equivocamos jajaja. Lo primero que encontramos fue una fuente con muchas bebidas, entre esas habían bebidas con gas, de soya, de leche y saborizadas, por el otro lado habían productos enlatados y comida instantanea, también, encontramos el pasillo de bebidas con el famoso Soju y algunas cervezas asiáticas, también, vimos las bebidas en bolsa que a veces veíamos en tiktok en las tiendas de conveniencias, decidimos probar los sabores de piña, mango y granadina por lo que a parte compramos los vasos con hielo para prepararlas.

I tell you that a few days before leaving Bogota with Fer and my mother in law we visited an amazing Asian store where besides taking the task of seeing each of their products we also decided to buy some things, its name is Y & Y Asian Market and is located on Carrera 15 with 102.
The truth is that the facade of the place is very nice, it is a large warehouse with some mirrors in gold that attract attention. To make your shopping more comfortable they have the option of either small or large carts depending on the amount of products you want to buy, we chose the small one thinking that there would be few but we were wrong hahaha. The first thing we found was a fountain with many drinks, among those there were carbonated, soy, milk and flavored drinks, on the other side there were canned products and instant food, also, we found the drinks aisle with the famous Soju and some Asian beers, also, we saw the bagged drinks that sometimes we saw in tiktok in the convenience stores, we decided to try the pineapple, mango and grenadine flavors so we bought the glasses with ice to prepare them.
Cuando terminamos de escoger las bebidas pasamos por mi pasillo favorito y ese era el de dulces, habían un montón de golosinas, en todas las presentaciones y sabores, la mayoría de caramelos eran de frutas como durazno, manzana verde, lychee, entre otros. Aquí también escogimos algunas opciones para probar y por supuesto, no podía irme sin los mochis que suelo ver en los k-dramas jaja. También aproveché de comprarle algunos dulces a mi sobrino Maxi, sobre todo los que tenían un pokemon dibujado ya que le encanta.
Como era casi hora de almuerzo decidimos comprar algunas sopas instantaneas para probarlas ya que en el lugar hay una zona llamada ''Coffee tea room'' que aunque es principalmente para el té, también funciona bastante bien para comer o degustar los productos que compres en el lugar. Las chicas de la pequeña cafetería son super amables y te ayudan si es necesario a preparar tus alimentos. En nuestro caso, seguimos las indicaciones y como eran solo sopas instantaneas decidimos sentarnos en una mesa donde hubiese jarra con agua caliente para prepararlas.
Por mi parte, decidí probar una opción de ramen picante que estaba super rico, este tenía algunos trozos de cebollín y carne, también, decidí probar el jugo de granadilla que me encantó y refrescó bastante, probamos los dumplings de vegetales que no me gustaron tanto pero no estaban nada mal, hubiese preferido probar unos con relleno diferente la verdad.
When we finished choosing the drinks we went through my favorite aisle and that was the candy aisle, there were a lot of candies, in all presentations and flavors, most of the candies were fruits like peach, green apple, lychee, among others. Here we also chose some options to try and of course, I couldn't leave without the mochis that I usually see in the k-dramas haha. I also took the opportunity to buy some candy for my nephew Maxi, especially the ones with pokemon drawn on them since he loves them.
As it was almost lunch time we decided to buy some instant soups to try them since in the place there is an area called ''Coffee tea room'' which although it is mainly for tea, it also works quite well to eat or taste the products you buy in the place. The girls in the small coffee shop are super friendly and help you if necessary to prepare your food. In our case, we followed the directions and since it was just instant soups we decided to sit at a table where there was a pitcher with hot water to prepare them.
For my part, I decided to try a spicy ramen option that was super tasty, this one had some pieces of scallion and meat, also, I decided to try the passion fruit juice that I loved and it was quite refreshing, we tried the vegetable dumplings that I did not like so much but they were not bad at all, I would have preferred to try some with a different filling to be honest.
Cuando terminamos de comer decidimos terminar de recorrer la tienda y encontramos también una zona donde vender productos para cocinar como aceite de sesamo, de soya, especias, salsas, fideos, entre otros. De hecho, hasta encontramos diferentes presentaciones de té, adornos y hasta algunos medicamentos asiáticos. Cuando terminamos de escoger los productos solo quedaba acercarnos a la caja para cancelar el total, en este punto la cajera nos ofreció una galleta de la fortuna lo cual nos llamó la atención por lo que antes de salir, los tres leímos nuestra fortuna y por supuesto, salimos super felices con nuestras compras.
En lo personal, quedé más que encantada con la tienda, me pareció bastante interesante, a demás de que cuenta con envíos a nivel nacional por lo que ya sé donde pedir desde Barranquilla cuando tenga antojos de productos asiáticos. When we finished eating we decided to finish walking around the store and we also found an area where they sell products for cooking such as sesame oil, soybean oil, spices, sauces, noodles, among others. When we finished choosing the products we only had to go to the cashier to pay the total, at this point the cashier offered us a fortune cookie which caught our attention so before leaving, the three of us read our fortune and of course, we left super happy with our purchases.
Personally, I was more than delighted with the store, I found it quite interesting, besides it has nationwide shipping so I know where to order from Barranquilla when I have cravings for Asian products.
